Sunny Acres Campground is located in the heart of Madison County Iowa home of John Wayne and the Bridges of Madison County. Owning a campground has been a dream of Verlan’s for over 30 years. With the purchase of a farm in 2013 it became the perfect place to farm and put a campground. Sunny Acres Campground gives the unique experience of being on our family farm where you will find us planting in the spring and harvesting in the fall.
